Webseite: https://www.io-warnemuende.de/projekt/168/rado.html
Dauer: 01/01/2017 - 31/08/2017
Beschreibung:

The project RADO - "Tackle The Baltic Sea" is directed at science journalists, which specialized in marine and environment research and want to learn on the basis of the Baltic Sea how to carry out own investigations and valuations on free data. In the science year 2016*2017 are two workshops planned, each in two parts and for up to 30 participants. The workshops are accompanied by a blog which is drawn up by the participants.

The workshop experiences will lead to generally available background material, which will be online and a investigation basis for media and in the second step for teachers, ecological associations and interested citizens.

The applicants are seeing their project also as a demonstration, how the motto of the science year „discover – protect – use“ works, looking at Baltic Sea research, Baltic Sea protection and Baltic Sea use. They want to give the target group the opportunity to participate at the research data, so they can actively take part at the Sea protection and valuate beneficiary claims.
